Jose A. Hernandez-Solaun is a senior real estate executive with more than twenty-five years of experience in investment, brokerage, development, and capital markets across South Florida. Since obtaining his real estate license in 1998, he has advised institutional and private clients through multiple market cycles, with a focus on disciplined underwriting, risk management, and long-term value creation.
He currently serves as Founder and Managing Member of 3.0 Capital and as President and CEO of Merrick Capital Partners, where he leads strategy, capital formation, and execution across a diverse portfolio of real estate investments · overseeing the full investment life cycle from acquisitions through disposition on behalf of investors and operating partners.
In 2021, Mr. Hernandez-Solaun earned the SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, recognizing his transaction volume, market expertise, and adherence to the highest standards of professional practice in industrial and office real estate · including Miami warehouse, South Florida industrial, and commercial real estate investing.
He holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship, Marketing & International Business from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami, where he has also served as adjunct professor.
